Origins 1971–1978 traces Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ formative years across 51 tracks, including 27 unreleased, live, extended and previously unheard recordings, newly mixed from the original multitracks by Ryan Ulyate.

This 5LP box set contains No Sleep Til L.A., 50th anniversary editions of the first two Heartbreakers albums, Live From The Record Plant 1977 and The Cut Out Bin. It also includes a DVD of the 1978 Old Grey Whistle Test performance, a Blu-ray Audio disc, an 88-page fanzine, poster and memorabilia.
