Released for November RSD / Black Friday. The 1966 album represented a milestone for The Rolling Stones as it was the first to consist solely of Jagger / Richards original songs. The US version was fleshed out with hit singles like “Paint It, Black,” an eerily insistent number 1 hit, graced by some of the best-ever use of sitar (played by Brian Jones). Aftermath also strongly features the baroque charm of “Lady Jane.” The album is now pressed on 180g clear vinyl, mastered directly from the original 1966 Decca flat stereo tape sources made for US London Records mastering, using an all-analog chain. It also comes with an exclusive lithograph print.
