Before Big Thief, Adrianne Lenker and Buck Meek travelled and performed together, developing a partnership built on her expressive songwriting and his distinctive guitar playing. These warm acoustic recordings capture songs made on the road and originally released as two EPs in 2014. Reissued on vinyl through 4AD, a-sides & besides documents an early chapter in both musicians’ creative lives.
